So you know that whole deal about how its not about the curveball its about how you handle it? I handle it by having a plan, albeit a versatile plan. Monday might happen on Tuesday – what?? Chicken chilaquiles might be salmon chilaquiles – what, what?? Yes.  It’s true.
This week’s line up is based on the curveball. Its about having go-to, foundation recipes in your back pocket that you can change up as need or want be. As always, I like to make a recipe once according to the instructions and then I take off from there.
Example: Tuesday night’s Chicken and Gravy was supposed to be a slowcooker recipe.  But, life happened and I never made it home to load it all in. Did I panic? Whine? Cry? Take to my bed for the evening with my beloved Chardonnay?  No! Just the addition of a little water and a great new go-to was born. I might even like it better. Wait, was the Chardonnay one really an option? Dammit.
Speaking of the curveball and how you handle it, I can’t sign off without wishing all our members, my peeps and family in the Greater Boston Area my prayers and props. I am so proud of all of you for showing this whole world your resilient, irrepressible, salty selves.  We are all Real Family.
