While I appreciate a solid plan, this is the time of year to leave room for some improv. Local gardens and farms are bursting with fresh produce. I love to stop by and add their yummy, fresh picked fruit and veggies to my dinner.
I have purposely left holes in the plan for us to enjoy the summer’s local harvests. Monday’s Mussels would be great with fresh corn or maybe green beans with Tuesday’s Pork Chops and Fresh Cherry Couscous. On Thursday, try picking all your different herbs for a salad – you could even put it right on top of the pizza – that sounds killer.
I hope you all will support out local farms, gardeners and farmer’s markets by stopping by and picking up a few things for snacks and dinner.
