“Orange you glad you don’t have to think about what’s for dinner?”
I am. Every Monday, I am so glad that my fridge is full of real food. I have just what I need to feed my family for the week. And, from the emails and texts that I am receiving from coast to coast, you are too.
In keeping with the “Orange” theme, yes, it’s a theme; we are eating orange foods all week. Orange you glad?!? My kids totally latch on to this kind of theme and ask me every night which orange food we are eating tonight. Fun!
It also gives us a great springboard to talk about the different foods, why they are tasty and why they are good for us. They are full of all sorts of good stuff such as beta-carotenes, vitamin A, minerals and anti-oxidants in ample amounts. They taste good because of the way we are preparing them – letting their natural flavor and sugars come forward. Y.U.M.

Strategy: We are brining the pork loin so take a look at the recipe. Make the brine (10 minutes) on Monday and let it sit over night. Roast on Tuesday.
