What's Old is New Again
Real families are eating real food! I have been enjoying great reports from the field that you are eating real food and so are the kids. I’ve heard kids are requesting quinoa. And parsnips. And fish! What? That’s awesome!
Recently, I have received requests to see some favorites again. Great idea! But how about with a twist?
Repeats make sense. I like to find new dishes for The Plan each week but I also know, because I am a real person with a real family, it is not realistic to expect to be successful at dinnertime without repeats. I think that's the key to supper success - add some new things to favorite recipes. That, and there always has to be something your kids like on the plate.
So, here you go – you asked for it you got it - two of each. This week we’ve brought back two favorites Orange-Maple Salmon & Fried Rice
and Apple Grilled Cheese & Lentil Soup
. And, for the twist, Cochinita Pibil
(Mexican-style pulled pork) and Enchiladas
Leave your family favorites in the comment section below - (they dont have to be Real Family Real Food faves) - cant wait to see what the hits are!
