If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times. You must plan to be successful. Don’t we say this to our kids all the time?

You have to study – and plan to study – to be successful on your test.

You have to practice to be successful at sports, theater, art, skateboarding, driving (!) etc.

You have to create a routine to be successful at bedtime, getting ready for school in the morning, or remembering your chores.

You have to make a plan to achieve the things that matter to you. Things like exercising, seeing friends, volunteering or getting to church. Just because they matter to you doesn’t get it done. You have to have a plan.

Eating a healthy, delicious dinner should be easier than it is especially since unlike any of the above, we have to eat! But, without a plan, we end up making different decisions than we’d like too. We either spend too much money on a single meal, we eat food that might not be as healthy as we’d like or – the worst – we miss the opportunity to be home, at our own table for 20 minutes with our crew.

Real Family Real Food to the rescue! We have four nights already mapped out. Just go to the store and sock it away in the fridge. You are 90% there.  Whether you choose all four or just one, you will feel better about this one thing that you did for yourself and your crew this week. I promise.
